St. Leo Fair 2026

The St. Leo Fair committee is well into preparations to make this year’s Fair the best ever. The Fair will be held
 Tuesday, September 1
through

Saturday, September 5, 2026.

It continues to be one of the largest events in the greater Stamford area. You, your family and friends can enjoy great rides, games and delicious food.
But we cannot do it without your active help!
There are three critical areas that we depend on our parishioners to participate in: Booth Sponsorships, Volunteers and Raffle Ticket Sales. Here are the details and how you can help.

Please consider supporting the 2026 St. Leo Fair with a Booth Sponsorship. Our Sponsors play a pivotal role in underwriting our Fair expenses. Also, Booth Sponsorship can make up for lost revenue due to inclement weather. Sponsorship revenue is increasingly important as proceeds from the Fair help to close our Parish budget gap.
We are deeply grateful for your past support. Because our sponsorship amounts have remained unchanged since 2006, we ask that you consider stepping up to a higher contribution level this year to help us meet today’s rising costs.
With a booth sponsorship you will receive a special sign in the booth of your choice with a special designation tag attached depending on the sponsorship level. With a Golden Jubilee Sponsorship and our new Archangel Sponsorship, your contribution will be highlighted with a gold or blue colored sponsor sign and your name listed on a placard at both entrances to the Fair.

You can find a letter from Father Javier inviting you to attend the Fair here.

Consider a sponsorship, as well as this year’s application form, in the link here.

Please complete the form and mail it to the rectory along with your check as soon as possible. For your convenience, you may also place your form and payment in the designated Fair Form Box in the church vestibule. Early responses are appreciated!

Do you have a local business that you frequent? Perhaps you can tell them about how they can show their support of the St. Leo Fair with a sponsorship.
In addition to Booth Sponsorships, businesses may advertise their services to our parishioners and the local community through our new Attraction-Naming Sponsorships that provide custom signs with the business’ name, logo, QR Code, and marketing slogan and PA announcements thanking the sponsor for its support and asking fairgoers to patronize the sponsor’s business.

All businesses that sponsor the St. Leo Fair will be included in our post-Fair gratitude campaign, encouraging our parishioners to visit these businesses and become long-term customers, featuring their business name and website link in the St. Leo Parish bulletin (print and digital), email newsletter and on our official website.

Spotlight Sponsor: Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home

St. Leo Parish is exceptionally grateful for the generous support of Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, our official Naming Sponsor for the Jackpot Bingo Hall—the home of St. Leo Bingo!

For nearly a century, Leo P. Gallagher & Son has been a cornerstone of our community, “Helping the Stamford Community Honor Loved Ones Since 1928.”

Please note we cannot process credit card or ParishSoft payments for Booth Sponsorship, and we would ask that you send separate checks for Booth Sponsorship and Raffle payments.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
One easily gets a sense of the “St. Leo Spirit” when they walk the fair to see the smiling faces of our volunteer parishioners. Your dedication is what makes our fair a great success. But we definitely need more help. There are a number of fair volunteer opportunities: fair setup, food booths, raffle and ticket sales, bingo support, food prep (peppers and onions), fair tear-down and more.   And it is never too early to sign up to be a volunteer. And there is time to make sure your Virtus status is up to date (information to follow in future St. Leo bulletins and Flocknotes).
